WFG National Title Adds Stanley Czaja as Underwriting Counsel

WFG National Title Insurance Company has named Stanley Czaja Esq. as underwriting counsel for the states of Illinois and Indiana in its Midwest Agency Group. Czaja will provide WFG agents in Illinois and Indiana with underwriting support, guidance, and educational resources. Before joining WFG, he spent 12 years in private practice. There, his areas of focus included handling residential and commercial real estate transactions and related litigation, including short sale negotiations, loan modifications and loan workouts.

“Stan embodies the superior level of experience, expertise and talent that WFG strives to make available to its agents,” said Janell Downing, SVP, Agency, Midwest Region for WFG National Title. “His unique ability to see all sides of an underwriting issue—both from the agent’s and the underwriter’s perspective—will make him a staunch ally and go-to resource for agents of all sizes in Illinois and Indiana.”

He graduated magna cum laude from DePaul University in 1999, with an undergraduate degree in business management. He received his juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law in 2003. Czaja has taught continuing legal education classes on the topic of short sale negotiations and is a frequent lecturer on the topic of loss mitigation workout solutions for homeowners.  He is also a licensed title agent in the State of Illinois.
