Dart Appraisal Collecting Supplies for U.S. Troops

May 10, 2017
Fulton, Md.-based NewDay USA claims that it can approve many of the servicemembers and veterans who are denied on AUS

Dart Appraisal has teamed up with Operation Care Package of Michigan (OCPMI) to supply overseas troops with care packages throughout National Military Appreciation Month. OCPMI is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that sends care packages overseas.

“We want to show our gratitude to our troops, and hope that the items we’re collecting help provide them with a sense of comfort and a ‘piece of home’ while they are stationed overseas,” said Michael Dresden, president of Dart Appraisal. “Every item donated supports our soldiers, and we are proud to host this collection drive together with OCPMI to show our thanks to the brave men and women who serve our country.”

Dart Appraisal will collect items to be included in care packages during the entire month of May at its headquarters in Troy. Monetary donations to OCPMI can be made at the organization’s Web site.

OCPMI has published a list on their site of items needed for care packages, which includes toiletry items, sunscreen and bug spray, individually wrapped snacks, small games, writing supplies, DVDs, as well as hats, gloves and sunglasses. Personal letters or notes are also welcome.
