Scott Somerville to Lead Supreme Lending’s New Kansas City Branch

May 11, 2017
Supreme Lending has announced that its San Diego, Calif. branch has partnered with May We Give for Love, a San Diego-based non-profit organization that provides financial contributions and volunteer support to several local charitable causes

Supreme Lending has expanded its Midwest territory with a new branch in Kansas City, to be led by industry veteran Scott Somerville.

Somerville has been originating residential mortgages for 17 years, providing hands-on client service that includes meeting with every single client in-person and being present at loan closings. Somerville has strong knowledge of the full range of government, conventional, non-conforming and jumbo mortgage products.

“Our goal is to go from application to final approval in under 20 days,” said Somerville. “As a team, we routinely close loans in four weeks. The majority of our loans this year have closed in that time frame. And, that includes all loans. We are not picking and choosing, leaving out more challenging loan types that typically can take longer. Not many competitors can say that.”

Somerville cites Supreme Lending’s advanced technology, open corporate structure, and loan originator support as key factors in his quick turn times.

“We use technology to expedite the process and enhance the borrower’s experience, but we balance that with a personalized approach that includes face-to-face meetings and attending closing,” Somerville said. “Buying a home is a major life event for most people. We’re there in person to celebrate that. It’s critical for me to be available to answer questions and provide explanations. My clients know they can rely on me.”
