“I joined Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions to be part of an innovative, industry-leading organization. I love being with a team focused on providing lending solutions and excellent service to our clients,” said Coad.

“The only true leader in the non-QM market right now is Angel Oak,” said Flanigan, who was previously an AE for three years. “They are truly years ahead of anyone else trying to enter this market. The people, the culture, the management and commitment from everyone here is top notch. Angel Oak has made a huge footprint as the leader in non-prime and I am so happy to be back.”

With aggressive growth plans for 2017, Angel Oak is continuing to hire AEs in markets across the country and underwriters/support staff in their Atlanta headquarters.

“We have continued to see increased understanding and acceptance of non-QM programs based on production from originators as well as interest from investors,” said Tom Hutchens, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Angel Oak. “We continue to believe this space has tremendous growth opportunities and look forward to this new batch of talented Account Executives helping spread the message to our broker partners.”
