The ongoing will-he/won’t-he speculation on whether Richard Cordray will prematurely exit his directorship at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in pursuit of the Democratic nomination for governor of Ohio seems to be leaning to the won’t-he side thanks to a casual peek at Internet domain registration.
According to, the URL for is available for sale at $25,000. Cordray has yet to offer any public clue on whether he will serve out his CFPB term, despite direct questioning from Capitol Hill Republicans on his career plans.
