PRMI LO Worthington Takes Part in Clay Shot Fundraiser for Wounded Vets
The Bountiful Lions Club with Loan Officer Jeff Worthington of Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. (PRMI), has partnered with Limbitless, a non-profit organization helping connect wounded veterans and adaptive communities worldwide, for a clay pigeon shoot fundraiser in Bountiful, Utah. Together, they raised more than $3,000 for veterans in need of assistance.
“We were honored to be a part of an incredible event that directly helps wounded veterans,” said Ronald Kern, founder of Limbitless. “Whenever we have the opportunity to partner with amazing people, we do and are encouraged that help can be provided and lives will be changed for our cherished veterans.”
One out of every 10 veterans alive today was seriously injured while serving their country. For many of these 2.2 million wounded warriors, the physical and emotional consequences of their injuries impact their everyday lives. According to a Pew Research Center study, more than half of veterans who suffered significant injuries say they experience difficulties readjusting to civilian life.
“I’m so proud to be a part of this community that came together for our heroes,” Worthington said. “Everyone involved made it such an amazing success. I look forward to this being an annual event for our wounded veterans.”
