A new partnership between homebuilder AV Homes and loanDepot has led to the creation of the first start-up lender of 2018.
 
The companies’ joint venture, AVH Mortgage, will be headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., and will focus exclusively on the AV Homes communities in Arizona, Florida and North Carolina. AV Homes was founded in 1970 and closed 2,465 homes in 2016.

Cregg, President and Chief Executive Officer of AV Homes. “The AVH Mortgage venture demonstrates our ability to leverage our growing business to efficiently provide value added benefits to our customers and shareholders.”
