The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has appointed Deborah Dubois as President of the MBA Opens Doors Foundation, the trade group’s philanthropic subsidiary that provides rental and mortgage payment assistance to families with critically ill children.

Dubois was previously Chief Development Officer for the Center for Public Integrity, a non-profit investigative news organization. Before that, she served as Deputy Executive Director for Justice at Stake and as Vice President for the National Legal Aid & Defender Association.
Dubois replaces Teresa Betz, the MBA’s Assistant Vice President of Operations, who served as MBA Opens Doors President for the past four and a half years and will continue to work with the foundation as Chief Operating Officer.
