Wonida Welch to Lead New American Funding’s Newest S.C. Branch

New American Funding has named Sean Casey Senior Vice President of Retail Sales for Arizona and Texas

New American Funding has announced the opening of its newest branch in Columbia, S.C., to provide the community with an array of purchase and refinance loan products. Wonida Welch will lead the market expansion as Branch Manager. A long-time resident of the area, Welch brings more than 25 years of mortgage experience to the community and was recently named to the company’s President’s Council for 2017 due to her high production levels.

“With all of New American Funding’s niche programs, we make mortgages affordable and we grow neighborhoods,” said Welch. “We’re a one-stop shop that finds the best option for our customer. Our goal is to make homeownership a dream come true.”

Welch will be joined by a team of top-producing Loan Officers, including Craig Johnson and Chris Marr, who are also both on President’s Council. Johnson has received additional recognition as one of the company’s elite Loan Originators in its Top Gun program.

“We’re honored to serve the Columbia market,” said Kelly Allison, New American Funding’s Southeast Divisional Vice President. “We look forward to supporting homebuyers, real estate agents, and builders to enhance the growth and prosperity of the region.”
