Nathan Vlazny Named VP of Underwriting for Waterstone Mortgage

Waterstone Mortgage Corporation has named Richard Tobias as controller at its Pewaukee, Wis.-based corporate office

Waterstone Mortgage Corporation has named Nathan Vlazny Vice President–Underwriting at the Pewaukee-based corporate office. Vlazny was previously the Underwriting Manager for the South Atlantic Region of Academy Mortgage. He has more than 15 years of experience in underwriting; 10 of those being in underwriting and operations leadership roles.

In his role, Vlazny will be responsible for the management of all underwriting functions, developing process improvements, preparing for industry-related changes, and continuing to build positive, collaborative partnerships between Waterstone Mortgage branch and corporate operations team members.
 
“In my new role, I look forward to partnering with a team that actively helps homebuyers pair the right home with the right loan program,” said Vlazny. “Waterstone Mortgage is always looking for ways to make the loan experience better for not just the homebuyers and Realtors, but for everyone involved in the mortgage transaction and I’m excited to be part of that process.”
