With more than 34 years of experience working with banking institutions and independent mortgage companies, John will have oversight of the strategic direction, business development, and market expansion for the retail platform on the East Coast. John is a results-driven executive with a history of taking on critical business assignments and leading sales teams to perform at a high level. Most recently, he served as the Divisional Vice President for Stearns Lending, and prior to that worked as the Regional Sales Leader for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the Mid-Atlantic for over 18 years.

“I am truly excited to join Sierra Pacific Mortgage,” Goulding said. “There were several key factors in making my decision to join Sierra Pacific Mortgage. The quality talent in senior leadership roles is very impressive, and the commitment to grow the Retail platform along with having a sales-focused culture will separate Sierra Pacific Mortgage from the competition. In addition, the company presents fantastic opportunities for mortgage industry professionals and I am excited to move forward with an already successful team in place that will help drive continued growth and production on the East Coast.”

John will be partnering with Liz Collins, East Coast Divisional Manager. Collins currently manages the large fulfillment and sales team based in Ellicott City, Md. which funded in excess of $1 billion in mortgage production in 2017. Sierra Pacific Mortgage is licensed in 49 states including New York and has an extensive retail footprint in Midwest and East Coast markets.

“John is a unique talent that is able to combine exceptional mortgage banking knowledge, with an energetic and relevant sales approach. His proven success in growing and leading high producing sales teams will be a critical asset for our growing East Coast platform,” said Sierra Pacific Mortgage Senior Vice President of Retail Jay Promisco. “This industry requires prudent and pragmatic leadership, and the combination of John Goulding and Liz Collins puts Sierra in a great position to succeed. They both embody the work ethic and integrity that makes Sierra Pacific so successful.”
