Access National Mortgage has added William Lyons as Senior Loan Officer in its expanding Richmond market.

“My commitment to customers is rooted in traditional values of service and credibility, which is why I am pleased to come ‘home’ to Access National Mortgage,” Lyons said. “As a top-20 company in the mortgage industry, Access has the scale to serve the needs of a community as diverse as Richmond.”

Lyons joins Access as a 20-year veteran in the mortgage loan industry. He moved to Richmond shortly after graduating from LeMoyne College with a degree in business, where he began his career in medical industry sales.

In 1997, Lyons started his career in the mortgage industry as a Loan Officer with Prosperity Mortgage, working with Long & Foster Realty in the Henrico neighborhood of Innsbrook. Lyons received several President’s Club Awards for his service throughout his 13-year tenure with Prosperity.

Later, Lyons grew his career with First Market Bank’s Mortgage Division and remained with the organization through its acquisition by Union Bank.

“Bill has an established history in the loan origination industry,” said John French, SVP of Production for Access National Mortgage. “His acumen in the deeply personal nature of lending upholds the Access legacy of individualized service our clients have come to expect from us. We foresee his skills providing sustainable growth in our Richmond market.”
