Waterstone Adds Two Execs, Three VPs

Waterstone Mortgage Corporation has announced the additions of Kim Newby (Senior Vice President-Investor Relations & Product Development) and Rich Tucker (Senior Vice President-Loan Operations) to its executive leadership team.

“Kim and Rich are invaluable additions to our executive team,” said Waterstone Mortgage President and Chief Executive Officer A.W. Pickel III. “Their expertise and knowledge will be very beneficial for the organization, as we continue to uphold our reputation as a trustworthy, purchase-focused, and forward-thinking mortgage lender.”
 
Newby has been with Waterstone Mortgage for more than four years, and has played a crucial part in the expansion of existing products and introduction of new programs. She has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry. Tucker joined Waterstone Mortgage last year, and will now oversee national loan operations for the organization. During his 17-year career, he has successfully launched dozens of products, managed several billion in loan volume, and managed Processing, Underwriting, Closing and Post-Closing teams.
 
In addition, Waterstone Mortgage has announced the promotions of Steve Lawrence to Vice President–Information Systems, Nicole Wolfgram to Vice President–Construction and Chris Hatton to Associate Vice President–Compliance.

“As we continue to grow and increase our presence around the nation, it’s crucial that we have effective and motivated leaders in place,” said Pickel. “Individuals like Steve, Nicole, and Chris not only have the experience needed to thrive in their new roles, but they also have the respect of their colleagues and team members–which is essential for any leadership role.”
 
Lawrence, a five-year veteran of Waterstone Mortgage, has made many contributions to the growth of the company’s technology solutions, including the Waterstone Mobile app, Agent Connect (for Realtors), and much more. He has more than 15 years of information technology experience. Wolfgram has been with Waterstone Mortgage for more than three years, during which the construction program has grown significantly–increasing the company’s presence in the homebuilding market. Wolfgram has more than 15 years of experience in the mortgage lending and financial services industries. Hatton began his career at Waterstone Mortgage in 2012. During his time with the company, he has held various roles on the Post-Close, Operations, and Compliance teams. As AVP–Compliance, Hatton will take on additional projects and responsibilities within the department.
