Quicken Loans is teaming with Churchill Downs, the home of horse racing’s celebrated Kentucky Derby, on a new promotion dubbed the “Rocket Mortgage Homestretch Sweepstakes.”

According to the Detroit-based company, contestants who enter the promotion via the HomestretchSweepstakes.com will be placed into a random drawing where 20 finalists will be selected to experience a VIP trip for two to the Kentucky Derby on May 2, with all airfare and accommodations included. Once at Churchill Downs, each finalist will be randomly assigned a horse competing in the grand race, and the finalist whose corresponding horse wins the Kentucky Derby will win $250,000 to put toward their mortgage. The entry period for the promotion is now underway and will concluded on April 7.

“Much like Rocket Mortgage, the Kentucky Derby is symbolized by speed and power,” said Jay Farner, Chief Executive Officer of Quicken Loans. “That is why Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans is the perfect fit for the most exciting two minutes in sports. We are a company that has made a name for itself by being bold, innovative and the first to do things – from the Quicken Loans Carrier Classic to the Billion Dollar Bracket–partnering with Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby is the next step.”
