Navy Federal Credit Union has introduced HomeSquad, an online mortgage application tool designed to simplify the homebuying process.

According to the Vienna, Va.-based credit union, HomeSquad can be accessed through its website or mobile app. The credit union’s members will be able to track their loan status, upload tax returns and other documents needed for the home loan application process, and link to key financial accounts.

“We wanted to simplify the home loan financing journey while keeping our team at the center of it,” said Randy Hopper, senior vice president of mortgage lending at Navy Federal. “I think our members will be pleasantly surprised with how much easier it is to interact with our team for their home loan needs when they use HomeSquad.”
