Guaranteed Rate Inc. is teaming with the residential brokerage firm @properties on a new joint venture called Proper Rate LLC.

According to the companies, Proper Rate is scheduled to launch in early 2020 and will offer a loan origination platform featuring a complete digital mortgage, a user-friendly transparent loan process with competitive pricing and “unmatched expertise from top-producing loan officers.” Proper Rate will be rolled out in select markets, although the initial announcement did not identify where its products and services will be available.

“We have a vision for an independent mortgage company built around relationships between borrowers, real estate agents, loan originators and other key stakeholders in the real estate transaction,” said @properties Co-Founder and Co-CEO Thad Wong.

"This is a unique opportunity for us to accelerate growth by working together with one of our most trusted and best-in-class business partners,” said Guaranteed Rate Founder and Chief Executive Officer Victor Ciardelli.
