NAMB to Host San Diego Seminar for CVLS Certification

NAMB has announced that it will host a full-day seminar on Jan. 16 in San Diego for mortgage professionals who are seeking to be approved for the organization’s newest certification, the Certified Veterans Loan Specialist (CVLS).
The seminar will provide information on the VA program, covering both a general overview and in-depth subjects including proving eligibility for everyone including reservists and surviving spouses, advice for getting DU & LP approvals, the appraisal process for VA lending, refinancing these loans and insight on VA-approved condos. The seminar will also offer advice on teaming with real estate agents to help grow a VA loan niche.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the class runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at San Diego’s Admiral Baker Clubhouse. The cost is $169 for NAMB members and $299 for non-members, including a continental breakfast and lunch. More information is available on the NAMB Web site.
