Freedom Mortgage Breaks Company Record for Origination Volume
Freedom Mortgage announced that it broke a company record for originations in 2019 by providing mortgages to more than 213,000 households totaling over $57 billion in volume.
The Mount Laurel, N.J.-based company also reported setting a quarterly record with over $17 billion in volume, representing over 63,000 closed loans. The company represents more than $220 billion in mortgages for more than 1.1 million homeowners.
The company also highlighted its’ philanthropic endeavors in 2019, with the collection of more than 3,000 toys for underprivileged children, distributed through various charities. The company also collected and distributed more than 5,800 backpacks and school supplies for military families across the country through various United Service Organizations (USOs) around the country via its 7th Annual “Rucksacks to Backpacks” event with the South Jersey/Philadelphia Liberty USO and its Team Freedom Cares Food Drive collected over 47,000 cans of food–weighing 28 tons–for Feeding America food banks in Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The company also teamed with Habitat for Humanity to support the non-profit’s Veterans Build program, which builds, rehabilitates and repairs homes in partnership with military veterans in need of affordable housing. In July, Freedom's Executive Vice President Michael Middleman was recognized by The Philadelphia Inquirer for his philanthropic contributions to the USO in support of military families.

In August, Freedom Mortgage announced its acquisition of J.G. Wentworth Home Lending LLC, a subsidiary of J.G. Wentworth Company.
