Guaranteed Rate Names Joseph Grassi as Chief Risk Officer

Guaranteed Rate has hired Joseph Grassi as its new chief risk officer.

Grassi was most recently served as Principal Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). Earlier in his career, he spent more than 20 years at Fannie Mae as a Lead Legal Advisor.

“We are thrilled to have Joe as part of our team,” said Guaranteed Rate Founder and CEO Victor Ciardelli. “His impressive industry experience will allow us to build on our strong compliance and risk management functions while greatly supporting our company as we continue our momentum of innovation and growth.”

Guaranteed Rate recently announced a partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO) to make sure that veterans and members of the military transitioning out of active duty service receive guidance and support from VA loan specialists during the homebuying process.
