Richard Tobias Named Controller for Waterstone Mortgage

Waterstone Mortgage Corporation has named Richard Tobias as controller at its Pewaukee, Wis.-based corporate office.

“Richard’s expertise and professional background make him a perfect fit for this position, and we are excited to have him join our accounting leadership team,” said Waterstone Mortgage Chief Financial Officer Dennis Creegan. “We look forward to working with Richard to ensure that our processes support the overall growth of the company.”

Tobias previously served as assistant controller for Park Bank, based in Milwaukee. He has more than a decade of accounting experience and, throughout his career, has held several leadership positions in the banking and financial services industries. In his new role, Tobias will oversee corporate accounting and funding operations and act as a financial liaison for Waterstone Mortgage’s branch network.
