WFG National Title Insurance Company (WFG) has named 30-year industry veteran Jacquie Brink to the role of senior vice president, Great Lakes Division manager

WFG National Title Insurance Company (WFG NTIC) has appointed Brian Hughes as president of its Arizona Division. Hughes has more than 25 years of title and escrow industry experience in Arizona and will report to WFG National Title Insurance Company Senior Vice President and Regional Director Rob Sherman.

“Brian not only has a vast network of industry and customer relationships,” said Sherman, “but has a reputation as one of the most reliable and accessible people in title and escrow in our region. He is a great fit for WFG, as he embodies our corporate commitment to collaboration and innovation.”

Hughes began his career in the financial sector as controller of a national title insurance underwriter. He was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer, and remained at this national company until 1994. After relocating to Arizona, he became president and chief executive officer of one of the largest, most successful and profitable title and escrow agencies in the state.

Hughes’ background includes serving as president of the Land Title Association of Arizona (LTAA) and as an active member in the American Land Title Association (ALTA), serving as chairman of both the Accounting and Research Committees. Hughes also served on the board of directors of the Care Fund and LTAA, as well as being a member of the Home Builders Association of Arizona, Valley Partnership and the Executive Association of Greater Phoenix. He actively supports Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, as well as other local charities.

“I’m excited and honored to join the WFG leadership at the 10-year mark, as the company enters a new phase of growth,” Hughes said. “We have a tremendous opportunity to effect positive change on behalf of our customers and our industry and I’m looking forward to leveraging WFG’s extensive resources to better serve the needs of both.”
