A 10-year resident of the North Shore, Mass. area, McFarland began her financial services career as a stock broker for Salomon Smith Barney in New York City. She then moved on to become a private banker for JPMorgan Chase at its Madison Avenue location. She and her family own and manage rental properties in the Northeast.
