NAHREP Recognizes Its Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originator Award Winners

The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) has released its sixth annual Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Report recognizing the top producing Latino mortgage professionals. This year's report, sponsored by Radian, ranks individual originators based on both number and dollar volume of transactions in 2019 and represents over $10 billion in combined sales volume.
 
The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) has released its sixth annual Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Report recognizing the top producing Latino mortgage professionals"Congratulations to this amazing group of loan originators who continue to break ground in helping people achieve their dream of homeownership," said 2020 NAHREP President Sara Rodriguez. "A lot of new homeowners were created thanks to their hard work, passion and excellence."
 
NAHREP salutes the professionals among the Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators for their efforts and contributions to sustainably growing intergenerational wealth through homeownership. The Hispanic homeownership rate has increased annually for five consecutive years, according to NAHREP, and access to affordable mortgage credit is essential for those gains to continue.
 
New American Funding led the way as the company with the most honorees, followed by loanDepot and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Lizy Hoeffer of CrossCountry Mortgage in Phoenix was the leading originator for the third year in a row, the first and only originator to hold the top slot for multiple consecutive years.
 
The 2020 Top 10 Latino Mortgage Originators in the U.S. and the number of loans they originated are:

2. Alexander Varela of PrimeLending, A PlainsCapital Company in Grapevine, Texas (458 loans)
3. David Medrano of UFCU Mortgage Services in Austin, Texas (367 loans)
4. Alfredo Madrid of Supreme Lending in Tulsa, Okla. (361 loans)
5. Luisa Bedoya of MSA Mortgage LLC in Revere, Mass. (359 loans)
6. Armando SanMiguel of Ameris Bank Mortgage Services in Franklin, Tenn. (357 loans)
7. Carlos Villalon of First Centennial Mortgage in Schaumburg, Ill. (349 loans)
8. Saul Pinela of Neighborhood Loans in Downers Grove, Ill. (342 loans)
9. Norma Guerrero-Cowes of DHI Mortgage in Austin, Texas (341 loans)
10. Jorge Montoya of Guild Mortgage in Reno, Nev. (339 loans)
