First American Hires New VP Of Data And Analytics

First American Financial Corporation appointed Jon Wierks as vice president of the company's data and analytics division. Wierks will be responsible for enhancing First American's existing automated valuation and collateral risk analytics initiatives and products.

He will be tasked with leveraging First American's data assets to develop solutions to help mortgage lenders, portfolio managers and investors reduce risk and increase efficiency.Photo of Jon Wierks

"His expertise will strengthen our position as a leader in valuation analytics and enhance the value we provide to customers across the mortgage loan lifecycle," said Dennis Gilmore, CEO of First American Financial Corporation.

Wierks brings close to three decades of experience in the real estate and valuation industry. He has been recognized for developing automated valuation models.
