Atlantic Bay Appoints Robyn Zacharias To Newly Created CMO Role
Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group has appointed marketing veteran Robyn Zacharias as its first chief marketing officer to drive brand growth, borrower engagement, and continued expansion
Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group has named Robyn Zacharias as its new chief marketing officer, a newly created executive role designed to support the company’s continued growth and brand expansion. Zacharias brings more than 30 years of marketing and advertising leadership to the Virginia Beach-based lender.
In her role as CMO, Zacharias will oversee Atlantic Bay’s marketing, brand, and communications strategy, with a focus on strengthening engagement with borrowers, referral partners, and the communities the company serves. The appointment reflects Atlantic Bay’s investment in scaling its platform while maintaining its emphasis on service, innovation, and community involvement.

Zacharias is a seasoned marketing executive with extensive experience in brand strategy, campaign development, and organizational leadership. For more than two decades, she led a successful advertising agency, delivering data-driven, integrated marketing campaigns across multiple industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, apparel, insurance, and financial services.
Her career includes numerous industry recognitions, most notably being named Brown Edwards’ 2023 RVA Power Woman of the Year for Marketing. Organizations under her leadership have also earned repeated placements on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies, along with honors from RVA’s Fastest-Growing Companies and the Richmond Times-Dispatch Best Places to Work rankings.
Beyond her professional work, Zacharias has demonstrated a strong commitment to community and civic engagement. She has served in leadership roles on several boards, including the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Elephant Auto Insurance, Ronald McDonald House Charities, YWCA, and Prevention Connections, and is an active member of YPO.
