Now Fairway Home Mortgage, company also donates $1M to support relief efforts in deadly Texas flooding

Madison, Wis. and Carrollton, Texas-based national mortgage lender, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, is rebranding itself Fairway Home Mortgage.

The change is “more than cosmetic,” according to the company, which is one of the nation’s largest retail lenders. The rebranding includes a new tagline and website with a potently simple name: home.com, which as of today redirects to Fairway.com

"Changing our name to Fairway Home Mortgage reflects a fresh look, a renewed perspective, and a future-forward vision,” stated Fairway's founder and CEO Steve Jacobson in a release. “The change is more than cosmetic — it represents our evolution and our commitment to innovation."

In the coming months, Fairway Home Mortgage said it plans to highlight its new tagline, “All Roads Lead Home,” and will be rolling out a series of initiatives such as the home.com site, all aimed at “emphasizing the company's connection to the concept of home."

"Fairway Home Mortgage represents more than a new name," noted Jon Tobias, Fairway's president of branch production. "We believe buying a home is not just a transaction, but an experience.”

“With ‘All Roads Lead Home,’” Tobias added, “we're building a connected ecosystem that supports our clients through every step of their home journey — before, during, and long after closing — a solution that makes home feel like home."

Supporting Relief Efforts In Texas Flooding

Floods over the July 4 weekend have devastated central Texas, with the death toll as of now climbing to at least 82. Dozens of people are still missing, including nearly 30 children in hard-hit Kerr County.

“Would encourage all mortgagees to do the same. If we are really here to help and serve, then why not; and why not… all of us?" —Steve Jacobson, CEO, Fairway Home Mortgage, speaking of supporting relief efforts in the recent central Texas flooding

In response, Fairway Home Mortgage announced it is supporting relief efforts, and is encouraging other mortgage companies to do the same.

“Fairway Home Mortgage will be donating 1 million dollars to the relief efforts of the recent Texas floods,” Fairway’s Jacobson shared in a post on LinkedIn this morning. “Fairway has numerous branches in that region of Texas. It is the least we can do to show support.”

“Would encourage all mortgagees to do the same,” he continued. “If we are really here to help and serve, then why not; and why not… all of us?

Jacobson noted the company will make its donation through Wood Group Gives, a nonprofit branch of The Wood Group, part of Fairway Home Mortgage.
