Shelly Seedorf and Tim Marsteiner bring decades of Non-QM expertise to support the lender’s national expansion and broker-focused mission

Foundation Mortgage Corporation, headquartered in Miami Beach, Fla., is expanding its national footprint with the addition of two seasoned professionals to its Account Executive team. The company announced that Shelly Seedorf and Tim Marsteiner have joined its ranks, bringing deep experience in Non-QM lending and a shared focus on practical, broker-first solutions.

Seedorf enters the role with over 30 years in the mortgage industry, having navigated the evolution of Non-QM lending since the Alt-A and subprime days. Her previous leadership roles at ACC Mortgage, Carrington, and Impac underscore her reputation for guiding brokers through complex borrower scenarios.

Marsteiner, a U.S. Air Force veteran, has built a strong track record at Non-QM lenders such as NewPoint Mortgage, Acra Lending, and theLender. His specialties include DSCR, bank statement, and ITIN programs, and he’s known for helping brokers close difficult loans with speed and precision.

“At Foundation, our mission is to help brokers succeed with common-sense lending that works in the real world,” said Marc Halpern, CEO of Foundation Mortgage. “Shelly and Tim bring decades of knowledge and a hands-on approach that align perfectly with our values. We’re excited to welcome them to the Foundation family as we continue building a nationwide team that brokers can trust.”

The hires come as Foundation Mortgage continues to grow its reach across the country, while staying rooted in its broker-centric approach to lending.
