Guild Mortgage Promotes New Area Manager For Northern Texas

Guild Mortgage promoted Michelle Castle to area manager in North Texas. In her expanded role, Castle will support Guild’s growth initiatives through the recruitment, development and management of new branches and talent in its Texas Region. She will continue to manage the Sherman branch and lead many of the region’s training and coaching efforts.

“Michelle has been a rising star in our industry since she joined Guild more than 10 years ago,” said Arthur Ochoa, vice president and regional manager of the Texas region. “She’s been one of the most successful originators in the area, with more than $35 million in loan volume through the second quarter of this year. She’s always willing to jump in and help others, and her coaching and customer service training programs have been a key driver of our growth. We know she’ll do great things in this role and help us bring on more talented people throughout North Texas.”

Since opening the Sherman branch in 2011, Castle has guided thousands of families through their personalized home loan process. She earned several national and regional awards, including being named to Scotsman Guide’s Top Originators rankings on multiple occasions and being voted ‘Best Loan Officer’ by the Herald Democrat every year since 2013. Castle serves as a mentor and coach to top producers across the country.
