
LendingPoint Appoints Shawn Stone As CEO

Stone is a senior financial services executive with more than 25 years of experience, including a lengthy tenure at Mr. Cooper.
LendingPoint, an Atlanta-based online loan origination and servicing platform, announced the appointment of Shawn Stone, a longtime financial services executive, as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board.
Stone is a financial services executive with over 25 years of expertise in online loan origination, loan servicing operations, credit, and capital markets. He dedicated more than 20 years to Mr. Cooper, where he played a key role in growing the company into the nation's largest home loan servicer. Most recently, Stone served as Mr. Cooper's Chief Revenue and Production Officer.
Stone was also the executive founder and president of Xome, a tech-driven real estate and mortgage services subsidiary of Mr. Cooper. Before joining LendingPoint, Stone was a senior advisor at Bayview Asset Management and served as the CEO and a Board member at Renovate America, a prominent POS, ESG, and home improvement fintech lender.
