Margie Hennessey has joined residential mortgage lender Waterstone Mortgage Corp. as vice-president of Eastern Region sales.
Hennessey has more than 21 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry, including nearly 15 years in senior leadership roles, according to Waterstone. Prior to joining Waterstone, she served as president of Florida-based Preferred Lending Services.

She brings some special skills to the table: Hennessey is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and spent over 15 years as a nationally certified ASL interpreter before beginning her mortgage career. She is also an ACC-accredited life coach through the International Coaching Federation.
In her new role, Hennessey will be responsible for driving growth within Waterstone’s east division by spearheading talent acquisition initiatives. She will collaborate closely with Waterstone’s east region managers and recruiting team to establish new branches and help expand existing branches by recruiting additional loan originators.
