On Wednesday, Sept. 1, the Mortgage Leadership Outlook will feature Christian Griffin, senior loan officer for Maverick Mortgage. This upcoming episode will be the second installment in the Mortgage Leadership Outlook's Broker Edition. The Broker Edition highlights some of the top brokers in the industry and their journey along the way. In this episode, host Andrew Berman and Griffin will discuss what led to the decision to enter the business in 2013, the systems and staff he needs to crank out 400 loans (mostly purchase) a year, and why he feels he's able to best serve his borrowers as a mortgage broker.

Griffin is a top originator nationwide with 77 closed units and $40 million in funded loans in 2018. He believes in a customer-first business model grows his business with word-of-mouth referrals.
