NMP 40 Under 40 nominations open

Annual program recognizes mortgage professionals under age 40 whose leadership and industry impact are shaping the future of housing finance

National Mortgage Professional (NMP) has opened nominations for its 2026 40 Under 40 program, recognizing emerging mortgage professionals whose leadership, innovation and measurable contributions are helping shape the future of the industry.

The annual recognition program honors mortgage professionals who are making an impact across the business, from loan origination and operations to underwriting, compliance, technology, servicing, capital markets and executive leadership.

Nominations are open to professionals who will be 40 years old or younger as of Sept. 1, 2026. Self-nominations are welcome, and honorees will be selected based on their industry contributions and overall impact. Previous 40 Under 40 honorees are not eligible for consideration.

NMP is encouraging mortgage companies, brokerages, lenders, technology firms and industry partners to nominate rising leaders who have demonstrated excellence through innovation, mentorship, customer service and measurable business results.

The 2025 class recognized emerging leaders from across the mortgage industry who distinguished themselves through leadership, performance and service. Revisit last year's honorees in "Talent Won't Wait: 2025 40 Under 40 Honorees" here.

The nomination period remains open through Sept. 27, 2026. Only completed submissions will be considered. Each 2026 honoree will receive a complimentary logo package to help promote the recognition.
