“Not every deal fits, but every deal teaches.” —Michael Goldman, Account Executive, Champions Funding

Based in the greater Philadelphia region, Goldman has held senior advisory and business development roles across the mortgage banking and capital markets sectors. He served as senior advisor at LoanGeek, a commercial real estate financing platform that connects real estate investors with lenders.

Among other positions, Goldman served as business development manager at mortgage lender AmeriTrust Mortgage; a national account executive at Non-QM-focused lender Logan Finance Corporation; vice president - national correspondent, national mortgage lender and servicer Non-QM at Newrez LLC; and senior vice president at Sprout Mortgage, a lender specialized in Non-QM products.

Goldman has demonstrated a reflective, growth-oriented mindset shaped by years of working with commercial clients. “The deals don’t always get done — but the thinking always sharpens,” he wrote in a recent post on LinkedIn. “In commercial lending, success isn’t just about closing — it’s about clarity, helping borrowers see what’s real, what’s possible, and what’s just noise.”

“Not every deal fits,” he noted, “but every deal teaches.”
