Aneeza Haleem, vice president of technology for Planet Home Lending, LLC, will be the next guest on NMPTV's special Tech Stack Heroes edition of the Mortgage Leadership Outlook on Wednesday, June 23. Haleem will join Andrew Berman and special MLO co-host, Tim Nguyen, co-founder and CEO of BeSmartee as they discuss how Haleem got started, what she learned from working at major mortgage players like IndyMac and Cognizant, obstacles she faced in her career and more. Nguyen will also explore Planet Home Lending's tech stack and how it aids the company's overall performance.
Haleem is a technology and mortgage lending veteran with more than 15 years in the industry. She kicked off her career as the configuration manager for Indymac Bank before joining Cognizant where she served in a number of roles including operations and project manager, senior account manager and new ventures program manager. She would later join the Planet Home Lending team as director of technology prior to her current role as VP of technology for the company.
In July 2020, she penned a contributed piece for the Mortgage Bankers Association's NewsLink, which explored whether or not companies can depend on AI and a bot workforce to make the best decisions for their customers.
