Planet Home Lending has added mortgage industry veteran Scott Henley to its correspondent sales team, strengthening regional lender partnerships and expanding support across key central and southwestern U.S. markets

Planet Financial Group has added mortgage industry veteran Scott Henley to its correspondent sales organization, reinforcing the company’s commitment to expanding its correspondent channel and supporting lender partners across the central and southwestern U.S.

As correspondent regional sales manager, Henley will be responsible for cultivating existing relationships and building new partnerships in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Colorado.

Henley brings more than three decades of industry experience spanning correspondent, retail, and capital markets roles. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at Gateway Mortgage and Bank of America, where he oversaw correspondent operations within complex organizational structures. His broad perspective is expected to help correspondent lenders navigate evolving market dynamics and align delivery strategies with long-term business goals.

“Scott brings a rare combination of relationship depth, leadership experience, and firsthand knowledge of what lenders need to succeed,” said Jason Mac Gloan, senior vice president of correspondent sales at Planet Home Lending.

In his new role, Henley will utilize Planet’s correspondent platform, which features competitive pricing, extensive product offerings, and flexible delivery options across best efforts, mandatory, and all-or-nothing trades. The platform supports flow, bulk, and co-issue executions through a highly automated process designed to reduce friction and enable scalable growth opportunities for lenders.

“At different points in my career, I’ve sat on all sides of the table, from retail leadership to correspondent sales,” Henley said. “That experience allows me to understand the pressures my clients are under and to bring practical, informed solutions to the conversation. Planet’s platform, people and long-term vision made joining the team an easy decision.”
