Revolution Mortgage announced the opening of its third branch location in Maine, located in South Portland and led by branch production manager, Peter Jose.

Jose joined Revolution Mortgage as branch production manager after eight years in home financing. His previous roles include loan officer positions at Residential Mortgage Services and Mortgage Network and most recently, a branch manager for Novus Home Mortgage. Jose was introduced to the mortgage industry straight out of college.

Jose attended the University of Southern Maine and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. After graduation, he was chosen for a sought-after internship at a private equity firm in downtown Portland. This internship is where Jose got his first experience with lending and real estate which led him to his career in mortgage loan origination. There he also learned the importance of customer service and empowering borrowers with knowledge so they truly understand the homebuying process.

“I love helping clients accomplish their dream of homeownership. I’ve never experienced something more rewarding than this and am grateful every day for this career. Walking customers through the process, explaining different products, and answering all their questions - I enjoy all of it! My goal is for every client to walk away feeling confident in their decision and I've come to find that happy and well-informed customers come back for their future financing needs and send referrals. The power of knowledge truly makes a difference," said Jose.

In addition to Jose joining the company, he also brings his wife, Tryce Jose, as a lending coordinator and Rebecca Howie as a processing specialist. Jose's goals for 2022 are to assist in building brand recognition in Maine and to hire more loan officers and other key positions to grow his branch. He also would like to expand his offering of first-time homebuyer education classes, according to the company.
