This is part of the Mortgage Leadership Outlook's Broker Edition, highlighting some of the top brokers in the industry and their journey so far. In this episode, host Andrew Berman and Deegan will discuss what led him into the mortgage industry at such a young age, why his practice is focused on helping veterans and their families, why he feels he can best serve veterans as a mortgage broker and more.

Deegan entered the mortgage industry while he was a senior in high school. He divided his time between work and school and still, within his first few months as an originator became one of the top originators at the company he was working at. Prior to joining Simplify Home Loans, Deegan spent nearly 16 years as a manager and mortgage loan originator for Flagship Financial Group, LLC from March 2001 - November 2016.
