Unisys Unveils Latest Content Management Solution

Aug 21, 2013

Unisys Corporation announced a software-as-a-service (SaaS) version of its InfoImage enterprise content management (ECM) solution. Separately, the company announced the availability of a new industry-specific InfoImage Mortgage Application that automates the processing and servicing of mortgage loans. The new SaaS version of the Unisys InfoImage solution provides a secure, cloud-based alternative to on-premises installation of an ECM solution. Available via a monthly subscription model, the SaaS solution allows clients to quickly implement and benefit from the capabilities of the InfoImage solution while reducing upfront capital investments and ongoing support costs. Additional benefits of the cloud-based ECM solution include convenient mobile access to critical documents and processes, enhanced collaboration with partners, and improved availability of content across multi-site organizations. The InfoImage SaaS solution is securely hosted in Unisys data centers through the Unisys Secure Private Cloud Solution. Clients also have the option of adding the advanced Unisys Stealth solution to provide an extra layer of security protection for customer information and critical transactional data and content. In addition, Unisys today announced a new InfoImage mortgage application, available as a licensed or SaaS solution, designed to automate and streamline high-volume document workflow during the mortgage loan process, from origination to closing. The application allows loan officers to use their mobile devices to capture an applicant's documents, signature, and other information. Using sophisticated workflow management capabilities, the InfoImage mortgage ECM application collects and assembles loan assets during the documentation process, tracking which documents are needed and from whom, and routing documents and approvals to required decision-makers. The InfoImage mortgage application is the first of a number of industry-specific ECM applications that Unisys plans to release. "Unisys continues to add new features and innovative capabilities to our InfoImage enterprise content management solution line," said Paul Barber, vice president, Unisys ECM Solutions. "For organizations with high-volume document requirements, our InfoImage software suite provides a proven solution used by clients around the world. And now, with our software-as-a-service option, those benefits are easier than ever to access." The Unisys InfoImage solution is designed to support organizations looking to significantly improve business processes that are heavily dependent on paper, Web and other electronic documents. The Unisys InfoImage solution captures, manages, stores, and delivers content required to handle cases, inquiries and applications for organizations such as banks, insurance providers, mortgage processors, and government public service agencies. The Unisys InfoImage ECM solution was recently recognized by CEB TowerGroup as a "best in class" provider for enterprise operations support in the ECM for Retail Banking Technology Analysis.
