Rodrigo Lopez Elected as Chair of MBA's COMBOG

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced the election of Rodrigo Lopez, CMB, president and chief executive officer of AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance LLC as the new chair of its Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG). R. Paige Hood, managing director of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company and Robert M. Stout, CRI, president and chief executive Officer of Q10 Capital, LLC will serve as vice chairs. COMBOG is comprised of MBA member executives representing all aspects of the commercial/ multifamily real estate finance industry. COMBOG leads the strategic development of MBA’s commercial/multifamily policy and initiatives, as well as best practices and standards. It represents the diverse interests of MBA’s member companies through standing councils, which are led by industry leaders and supported by expert staff, and special work groups and task forces. “I want to thank outgoing Chairman Brian Stoffers for his leadership of COMBOG over the last year and welcome Rodrigo Lopez as the new chair. Rodrigo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the chairman position, something he has shown repeatedly during his time on the Board,” said MBA Chairman E.J. Burke. “Additionally, I want to welcome Paige Hood and Bob Stout as vice chairs, and our new COMBOG members as well. I have no doubt this year’s team will carry on MBA’s tradition as the leader in advancing the commercial/multifamily real estate finance industry’s business objectives.” Lopez was previously Vice Chair of COMBOG. In addition to their service on COMBOG, Lopez, Hood and Stout all serve on MBA’s Board of Directors.
