radius financial Co-Founder Valentini Honored by Habitat for Humanity
radius financial group inc. has announced that its Co-Founder and Principal Sarah Valentini was recently awarded the Bravo Award for works as outstanding Event Chair at South Shore Habitat for Humanity’s (HFH) 2016 High Heels & Hard Hats Gala. In celebration of the organization’s 30th anniversary, members of South Shore Habitat for Humanity gathered at its annual High Heels & Hard Hats Gala at the Reebok World Headquarters in Canton, Mass. to observe the ways in which HFH is changing the world and changing local South Shore communities by building one home at a time. This year’s gala also included an inaugural Bravo Award ceremony commemorating those volunteers who have made an instrumental impact within South Shore HFH.
“I’m honored to be considered for South Shore Habitat for Humanity’s inaugural Bravo Award,” said Valentini. “It’s been an exciting year as the National Women Build Chairwoman thus far and I couldn’t be more grateful to be working with all the wonderful volunteers that make up this fantastic organization.”
South Shore Habitat for Humanity created its own Bravo Award in 2016 to thank its volunteers for their extraordinary dedication, contributions and accomplishments. Valentini, who was nominated in the “Outstanding Event Chair” category, won for her works with Women Build. Along with Valentini were seven other Bravo Award recipients who were also recognized throughout the evening’s presentation ceremony.
In its history, the Bravo Award can and has been given to more than one individual each year. The honorees are recognized at the organization’s spring Gala, and revealed in the Habitat for Humanity publication, social media channels, and its monthly e-newsletter.
Valentini is currently serving in her first year as Event Chair since being named the 2016 National Women Build Chairwoman in June 2015, succeeding HGTV star and Weymouth, Mass.native Taniya Nayak.
