Tom Rice Joins OpenClose as VP Enterprise AE

OpenClose, a multichannel loan origination system (LOS) and digital mortgage fintech provider headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla., has hired Chris Olsen for newly created position of vice president of sales engineering

OpenClose has announced that long-time industry veteran Tom Rice has joined its growing sales team as Vice President Enterprise Account Executive, responsible for covering the West Coast territory. Rice has experience with multiple LOS platforms, as well as other enterprise-class mortgage technology solutions.

In his role, Rice will work with lending entities of various types and sizes to utilize OpenClose’s end-to-end LOS and additional software solutions. This includes the OpenClose LenderAssist LOS, DecisionAssist PPE, ConsumerAssist borrower direct Web sites, OC Correspondent lending module, OC Optics data and analytics reporting solution, mobile technology and also new innovative, disruptive products that OpenClose will be launching in 2018.
 
“Tom has an outstanding reputation for developing and maintaining rapport-based, long-term business relationships with all types mortgage professionals from different functional areas at lending entities,” said Vince Furey, Senior Vice President of Lending Solutions at OpenClose. “He is an experienced sales executive who is solution-oriented and accustomed to operating in fast-paced, dynamic software environments. Rice has held senior sales positions at LOS vendor PCLender; PPE and secondary marketing software vendor Optimal Blue; enterprise risk management and data analytics provider Veros; Bank of America; and other mortgage software providers.
