CTO Pat Downing Joins FirstClose

FirstClose has announced the addition of Pat Downing as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), responsible for overseeing the development of all technical efforts at FirstClose. Previously the CTO of Austin, Texas-based Mozido, Pat is skilled in overseeing IT operations, customer success and software engineering, and customer support services.

In addition to his 20 years of experience in technology operations, infrastructure, development and customer support, Pat is also accomplished in global team-building, budget creation and management, technology and business process improvement, and technology-to-business goal alignment.

“With his wide range of experience in IT work and CTO responsibilities, there is no doubt that Pat will be a great asset to FirstClose as we continue to perfect existing, and develop new, technology solutions for the mortgage industry,” said Tedd Smith, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FirstClose.
