The National Association of Realtors (NAR) announced that the new “.realestate” Internet domain will go on sale beginning Nov. 26, following the Nov. 16 conclusion of a pre-sale to NAR members.

NAR noted that the new domain is separate from the .realtor domain, which can only be made available only to NAR members and affiliated NAR organizations and businesses. The .realestate domain can be obtained from registry services including GoDaddy and can be applied to businesses in the U.S. and overseas.

“From day one as NAR’s CEO, my goal has been to leverage new technologies to ensure Realtors and real estate professionals market their businesses in the most innovative and effective ways possible,” said NAR Chief Executive Officer Bob Goldberg.
