CMG Financial and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties have announced that their joint venture, Welcome Home Funding, will be led by John Dutra, who has been appointed president of the company. Welcome Home Funding is a mortgage banking firm headquartered in San Ramon, Calif. It also delivers a full-service real estate experience that helps buyers through the search and financing process.
Dutra has 15 years of experience in the builder industry and 11 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry. The company believes that Dutra will be instrumental in helping to streamline production during its rapid time of growth. The company is also looking to Dutra to ensure that their lending footprint is increased as well.
"Our joint venture partners get the support of a large company that acts like a small company. We take care of our people to make sure that we have an extraordinary environment," said Chris Harris, vice president, national joint venture manager for CMG Financial. "Our goal for joint ventures is to find like-minded partners to take that next step, we execute this from an operational mindset to build strong companies."
