Hutchens has more than 18 years of experience leading sales for a wholesale and correspondent lending platform. Before becoming EVP, production for Angel Oak, Hutchens was a senior sales leader at SouthStar Funding, and was responsible for business and sales development across the country. He also served as president of Novo AMC, where he was instrumental in launching the organization. Hutchens is a frequent contributor to NMP covering the topic of non-QM.
