LenderClose named Samantha Paxson to its board of directorsPaxson is chief experience officer for CO-OP Financial Services. She is an accomplished speaker and founder of CO-OP THINK, an innovation content platform that just this year went virtual for an audience of 2,500-plus credit union leaders.
 
“Earning a member’s primary financial relationship in the digital era requires credit union leaders who are bold and decisive, unafraid to get in the fray with so-called disruptors,” said Paxson. “The LenderClose team is comfortable moving fast to help credit unions make positive, transformational shifts in the way they serve members. For that reason, and so many others, I’m really excited to be a part of this team.”
 
Paxson is a contributor of content to national media, such as the Huffington Post and Forbes. Her past governance leadership has included serving as an advisor to the OpenIDEO Challenge on Financial Empowerment, the CUNA Marketing Awareness Group, the National Credit Union Foundation board and the CHOC CU4K board.
 
In addition to her service to LenderClose, she currently serves on the boards of USCCU and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Credit Unions For Kids.
