NewRez Hires Jacksonville Region Manager

First Merchants Corp., the Muncie, Ind.-based holding company for First Merchants Bank, has reached a settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)

NewRez hired Stacy Blair as its manager for the Greater Jacksonville, Florida region. He will report directly to Debbie Knotts, senior vice president of direct to consumer lending.

"Stacy’s expertise in building teams and driving results will be a tremendous asset as we continue to expand our national footprint and increase our overall market share," said Knotts. "I look forward to the leadership that he will bring to building our newest center."Photo of Stacy Blair

Blair brings more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He led multiple lending channels, including retail, joint venture and Direct to Consumer. Blair also built a number of teams from the ground up at companies like EverHome Mortgage, Everbank and TIAA Bank.

He will be responsible for expanding the sales team in Jacksonville as the company plans to double the size of the region's workforce by the end of 2020.
