She has expertly balanced large-scale national operations through strategic planning and outstanding communication, while remaining focused on the customer experience and the growth of her teams, according to a press release. Her work has been recognized numerous times, and she appeared on National Mortgage Professionals' 2019 Most Powerful Women, Progress in Lending 2019 Most Influential Women in Fintech and National Diversity Council’s Southern California 2016 Most Powerful & Influential Women lists along with NEXT’s 2020 Powerhouse list. Lindblom currently serves on the board of NEXT Mortgage Events and is a senior advisor for MISMO.

"She’s a results-driven leader with four decades of experience in mortgage banking that many of us have had the pleasure of partnering with in the past," said founder/CEO Glenn Stearns. "Suzy is a tremendous presence in the industry, having countless accolades, but also a dedicated mentor and genuinely nice person. She brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, having created and led large-scale national operations with enthusiasm. After all, she was deeply involved in my previous company while we clinched the #1 top wholesale lender ranking in the country for two years as well as the sale of Stearns Lending to Blackstone, a private equity investment firm."

In her new role as chief operating officer, Lindblom will work in partnership with Yvonne Ketchum, president of Kind Lending, in overseeing many of the corporate departments as well as working with the company to set up their retail and joint venture divisions. She will build out and implement new loan product offerings and operational service model in all of the lending divisions, wholesale, retail and joint venture, to bring more streamlined and customer/client friendly practices to the company.
