Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation has tapped one of its most seasoned leaders for a pivotal new role. Amy Slotnick, a 42-year mortgage industry veteran and longtime top performer at Fairway, has been promoted to President of National Branch Optimization – Sales, the company announced.

Based in Newton, Massachusetts, Slotnick will continue originating loans while taking on the added responsibility of shaping and executing strategies to improve sales efficiency across Fairway’s national network. Her mission: to enhance loan production processes and drive adoption of new technologies and products among Fairway’s originators.

“I am truly excited to help the network as we continue to enhance Fairway’s offerings,” Slotnick said. "My role will be to help the sales network understand the value of new products, technologies and processes, all designed to create production opportunity with greater efficiency. Our objective is to ensure that the Origination team at Fairway is always the best equipped to consistently deliver a superior level of service which is in keeping with Fairway's core values."

Slotnick will work closely with Joy Johnson, Fairway’s Chief Strategy Officer, as she steps into this leadership position. Johnson highlighted Slotnick’s deep institutional knowledge and unique blend of operational and sales experience as key assets for the role.

"As a 40 year plus industry veteran, Amy's experience in both Operations and Sales makes her a uniquely qualified partner for executing these initiatives,” Johnson said.

Slotnick’s tenure with Fairway spans 18 years, during which she served as SVP and Regional Manager. She holds the distinction of being Fairway’s first $100 million producer and has often been selected to pilot new company programs and initiatives.
