Jet Direct Mortgage has announced the return of Andy Thaw, a seasoned originator and nationally recognized 203(k) and HomeStyle Renovation loan specialist, to its team as vice president of renovation lending.
Thaw brings with him 40-plus years of mortgage lending experience, as well as a record of helping homeowners and buyers with their homeownership goals, and further unlocking potential in often overlooked properties.

Thaw has also long been committed to working within the lending and real estate communities as an educator and active association leader. As an New York State-certified instructor, Thaw currently serves on the teaching faculty with The Long Island Board of Realtors and has authored two widely used books on the topic of renovation lending. He currently chairs LIBOR’s education CADRE, and serves on LIBOR’s Appraisal Education Committee and NYSAR’s Education Strategies Committee. He was named LIBOR’s “Affiliate of the Year” in 2024.
